Municipal elections are just around the corner, and there are some important opportunities for electors and prospective candidates to mark in their calendars. A new tab has been created on the website with relevant information and resources, and the municipality will also be sending out (mail and email) communications throughout the process to keep candidates, electors, and other stakeholders informed.

The first big milestone is the Notice of Nomination Day. This notice was mailed out earlier this week and should be arriving over the next few days. This same information can be found on the website or by contacting the office for a paper copy.

There are also two upcoming candidate information sessions for anyone interested in learning more about the roles and responsibilities of being a municipal councillor before they commit to filing to become a candidate. This includes a session on May 3, 2025 at the Stettin Nakamun Hall. Full details, including alternate session dates, are on the website.
