Re:    Fire Ban Declaration – Effective April 30, 2025, 12:00 noon

Please be advised that a complete Fire Ban is now declared for the Summer Village of Nakamun Park, effective 12:00 noon April 30, 2025. The ban will remain in place until further notice.

As outlined in Fire Services Bylaw 2024-2 (Sections 34 and 35)

• All existing outdoor wood-burning heating, cooking, and recreational fires must be extinguished, and no new fires can be lit.
• All fire permits are suspended, and no new permits will be issued.
• Natural gas, propane, charcoal/briquette fires for outdoor heating or cooking are not affected by this ban and remain a permitted use at this time.
