Reminder: Upcoming Election Event – Prospective Candidate Orientation Session – May 3rd, 2025
With municipal elections in summer villages right around the corner, we would like to remind anyone interested in running for office or learning more about the roles and responsibilities of being an elected official in a local authority to take advantage of this upcoming opportunity.
The event will be hosted at the Stettin-Nakamun Hall on May 3, 2025, from 10 a.m. through 12 noon. It will be an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in running for office to engage with municipal leaders on how to become a candidate, plan for the election cycle, and prepare for what comes next once you get elected. You do not need to register to attend.
If you cannot attend this event but are interested in other opportunities, a second round of orientations will be held on May 24, 2025, in Darwell. Additional details on all these opportunities and many other election resources can be found on the municipal website under the Election tab.
